The committee chair person and committee members are responsible for planning a monthly meeting for our mobile park community. The planning requires volunteer assistance. Select our committee for fun along with educational value.
These programs are often presented by outside professionals who volunteer to come to our park and share their knowledge.
The meetings are open to all residents and are encouraged to attend. Informative sessions are held, at 7:00 PM on the last Tuesday of each month in the Spalton Pavilion.

DISASTER COMMITTEE
Ramrod is a proactive community. In our planning, we take time to look at many potential disasters. We set protocols in place to reduce their affects on our senior community.

RISK MANAGEMENT
Living in California provides many beautiful opportunities for outdoor activities. Our weather is some of the best on the planet. There are times during our summer months where we enjoy extreme heat, during the winter months, we often times have little or no rain. The interior organization of our mobile homes contribute to our safety or risk of accidents.
I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for our enduring partnership in ensuring safety, fire prevention and disaster preparedness within our community.
Our collaboration over the years has been invaluable. Your commitment to safety measures participation in training programs and dedication to disaster preparedness have made our community stronger and more resilient. Together, we have minimized risk and created a safer environment for all.
Effective communication and joint efforts have been essential to our success.
Please know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. The Rialto Fire Department deeply appreciates your commitment.
As we face future challenges together, rest assured that we are here for you. We look forward to continuing our partnership in making the Ramrod community of Rialto an even safer place for all residents.
Thank you for your unwavering support!

FIRE: DAMAGE
We invite the local fire department personnel to come and share their tips on mobile home fire prevention. Since the Manufactured homes have little or no insulation in the interior walls, they may burn more rapidly. Our presenters give us safety tips on how to keep our homes safe. They recommend having a couple of current fire extinguishers handy in different locations in your coach.
Fire Extinguishers are quick Flooring is another potential tools, enabling us to fight danger for seniors
EARTHQUAKES: DAMAGE
We have triage activities to help us be prepared in case of a major earthquake. Gas and electrical problems can exacerbate mild to major quakes. Disaster meetings will cover potential gas and electrical solutions. We go over real life situations. We cover solutions for residents that are not mobile and may need help during a black out or storms.
We feel the train coming an going but its not dangerous. Earthquakes safety requires a lot of tenant coordination.
FLOODING: DAMAGE
Desert rains are very unpredictable and we need to be ready in the event they present danger. When we have rain, it sometimes comes to us in large quantities over short period of time. Do not drive through pooling water that may be deeper than anticipated. Oils surface during a first rain, of the season, making roads very slippery.
Drought is an ever-present problem in California.Too much moisture is also extremely dangerous.
