The kitchen crew prepare the meals associated with social events. They also have certain certifications that are required to handle food service. If cooking, preparing, and serving a great meal is your cup of tea, you can volunteer, and become a part of the kitchen committee.
Planning, budgeting, and preparing a meal for 50 – 75 people can be an awesome job, but at the same time it is very rewarding. It gives you an opportunity to show your culinary skills. Eating is America’s past time, and one of those things that is always introduced with each visitor. So roll up your sleeves and get involved, we have a need, and you could be our next solution.
The dishwashing brigade also is a part of the kitchen function. We do not have a commercial dishwasher in the kitchen, yet. We are in hopes of including it in the Ramrod Senior Housing, Inc., long range planning agenda.
