Patrol Committee

Volunteer patrols in a senior mobile park are on-site to report crime, re-enforce rules, and report tenants that may be in distress.

The Ramrod Mobile Home Park tenants benefit from regular, visible patrols due to their private nature and the specific needs of their senior tenants.  Volunteers drive their own car and provide their own gas as a service to the Ramrod Senior Housing, Inc., Mobile Home Park.

What HOA mobile patrols do:

  • Report crime: A visible security presence can discourage trespassing, vandalism, and theft.
  • Reminders of park rules: Patrols ensure tenants and visitors abide by community guidelines, such as rules regarding parking, pets, and noise levels.
  • Respond to issues: They can respond to non-emergency issues and safety concerns, reducing the number of calls to law enforcement.
  • Check on residents: In some cases, patrols perform wellness checks on residents who are reported shut ins or not able to meet their own needs.
  • Act as a liaison: Volunteer Patrol Park Drivers can serve as a link between tenants and park management by communicating risk issues and non civil matters.
